1 cup brown rice (250 mL)
3 cups water or broth (750 mL)
1/2 cup Only Oats™ Steel Cut Oats (125 mL)
Salt to taste
Spices or herbs (optional)
1. In a saucepan, combine brown rice and water or broth. Add spices or herbs of your choice. Cook for 25 minutes. Add Only Oats™ Steel Cut Oats for the final 15 minutes. Total cooking time about 40 minutes. Fluff and enjoy!
