Apple Crisp

8 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced (2 L)
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed (60 mL)
1 Tbsp all-purpose flour (15 mL)
1 tsp cinnamon (5 mL)
1 1/2 cups Only Oats™ Oat Flour (375 mL)
1 1/2 cups Only Oats™ Quick Oat Flakes (375 mL)
1 cup brown sugar, packed (250 mL)
1 tsp baking soda (5 mL)
1/2 tsp salt (2 mL)
1 cup canola oil margarine, softened (250 mL)

1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C).

2. Place the sliced apples in a 9 x 13-inch (22 x 33-cm) pan. Mix brown sugar, 1 Tbsp (15 mL) Only Oats™   Oat Flour and ground cinnamon together and sprinkle over apples.

3. In bowl, combine flour, Only Oats™ Quick Oat Flakes, brown sugar, baking soda and salt. Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly. Spread evenly over apples. Bake about 45 minutes.

Yield: 12 servings.
